Biography
Claire Skubik is from Lexington, KY, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Eastern Kentucky University with a concentration in ceramics. She works with collages, paintings, and ceramics, centered around an interest in writing—both extant and asemic. This is founded on the belief that handwriting has an intimate connection to the human experience and can convey the soul of the writer. Through combined methods, she attempts to discuss matters close to home; spirituality, nature, and heart, as honestly as one may try.
